888 Looking to Team With Facebook on Social Gaming



Social gaming has become the hottest ticket around for operators in the online casino games industry. As Facebook recently announced its collaboration with Gamesys to offer real money casino games, some of the best online casino casinos are hoping to get a piece of the pie.

In early August, it was announced that Gamesys and Facebook are joining forces to offer real money Bingo and Slots games through an application on the social site. The announcement means that the online casino games industry is changing in general and the way players interact with operators is shifting as well. To this point, social gaming has mostly been on a credit basis. The new app presented by Gamesys will have a series of 90-Ball Bingo and Slots games.



Brian Mattingley, Chief Executive Officer of one of the best online casinos, 888, commented about being in the first round of discussions with Facebook over the possibility of putting its own games on the social platform for real-money gaming opportunities.  

Facebook has not commented on any developments related to social gaming beyond the fact that it has no plans to expand the real-money gaming opportunities on the site further than the deal it already made.
